Dubbed DTS:X, the upcoming audio tech does away with traditional channel-based encoding, mixing sounds as individual objects that can be adapted to any speaker setup. But just how does this new audio format perform and, perhaps much more importantly, how does it compare to Dolby's eerily similar Atmos platform?
